Guarding
A lone worker is any employee that spends some or all of their working time working on their own. It is an employer’s legal obligation under the Health & Safety at work Act to undertake a risk assessment, identify the hazards faced by these workers and then take appropriate action to safeguard them.
Examples of such workers include;
- Workers that are required to work away from the main business base such as; Estate Agents, Public Transport Staff or field based Health Professionals.
- Staff working outside normal working hours such as night cleaners or maintenance staff
- People working from home on a regular basis.
Apple Security Group can support you in meeting your legal obligations by conducting a [risk assessment] followed by the implementation of a comprehensive security solution utilising our monitoring facility as a central hub.
