SIA Approved Security Contractors, Apple Security Group

Whether an existing security guard is reassigned to your contract, or a new security guard is engaged, you can be assured they will be well trained, motivated, and supported by a first class experienced management team monitoring their progress and guiding services forward.

Apple Security is extremely proud of its low churn rate of personnel, with employees averaging five years length of service and others having celebrated more than 30 years permanent employment.

All Apple Security guards undertake continuous personal development to ensure their security skills and knowledge remains current and they continually conform to the SIA licensing criteria in order to remain fully licensed and legal to perform security related roles.

Apple Security ensures new security guards undertake a comprehensive in–house application and interview process. They are required to prove their employment history, right to work status and suitability for a security guard position. All applicants have their work experience and proofs of identity vetted, and are independently checked against the UK Criminal Records Bureau.

Once accepted our security guards undergo an intensive training course, time in the field helps to cement security guarding training and customer service skills. Our guards are well informed of the importance we place on our company values, disciplines, and our desire to satisfy the customer’s requirements, ensuring the sound delivery of essential basics in security guarding procedures, law, health and safety and personal protection are met at all times.

Our security guards must pass an externally verified exam to gain a Security Industry Authority licence. This is supported by specific additional on site training relevant to your service requirements.

Throughout each year our security guard must take refresher-training courses to keep their skills for security guarding up-to-date. These may include teaching them how to handle aggression, effective communication along with other relevant courses in order for them to best perform their duties.
