Once you have joined Apple Security, you will receive comprehensive training, supervisory and management support to help you deliver the service levels expected.

All new employees undergo an intensive four-day training course, after this there are three days on-site familiarisation working alongside existing employees.

During this period you will be introduced to:

  • The importance of the company values
  • Discipline
  • How to ensure your client is satisfied
  • Effective communication skills
  • Security procedures and law
  • Health and safety, and personal protection
  • How to handle aggression

You must pass an externally verified exam to gain a Security Industry Authority licence. This is required before you can work for Apple Security. The company will assist to fund your licence application both now and in the future.

Finally, you will have extra training specific to the type of site you will be working within. For example, the demands of a 24-hour shopping centre are significantly different to securing an empty building site overnight.

During your employment you will meet regularly with your supervisor to ensure your security and service skills continue to develop. And you will receive refresher training every year.
